In the late summer evening of August 12, 2024, tragedy struck the community of Texarkana, Arkansas, with the untimely death of 17-year-old Marious L. Bradley. The young man was fatally shot at the Brook Hollow Apartments, located at 2511 E. 24th Street. Despite the immediate response from law enforcement, Marious was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving a family and a community to grapple with the sudden and violent loss.
