On the evening of Tuesday, October 15, 2024, the sound of gunfire disrupted the quiet at the South Pointe Apartments on California Street in Marianna, Arkansas. When officers from the Marianna Police Department arrived around 9:30 p.m., they discovered 25-year-old Danny Jordan, a male resident of Little Rock, lying in an open doorway of one of the apartments. He had sustained apparent gunshot wounds.
