In the quiet town of Marianna, Arkansas, the life of 34-year-old Carlos Demetrius Sanders, a Black male, was abruptly ended on the evening of December 9, 2019. Gunshots shattered the peace in the front yard of his home, and moments later, he was discovered on his porch by his sister, having sustained fatal injuries. He succumbed to his wounds at the scene, leaving his family and the community in shock.
