On February 11, 2023, a shooting incident occurred in Marianna, Arkansas, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, including Arthur Hill, a 59-year-old resident of Forrest City. The incident took place near the corner of Martin Luther King Drive and South Florida Street, where Marianna police responded to a 911 call at approximately 2:06 p.m..

Arthur Hill was transported to the Forrest City Medical Center for treatment but was pronounced dead at 3:30 p.m..
