Tammy Sue Jones, a 33-year-old White / Caucasian female from Sophia, West Virginia, was killed in the early morning hours of October 18, 2023, when a shooting broke the stillness along Virginia Street in Raleigh County. Deputies with the Raleigh County Sheriff's Office were called to the area at about 4 a.m. for a report of a deadly shooting, and when they arrived, they found that Jones had been shot and killed.
