Chauncey McNair, aged 32, was shot and killed on January 16, 2017, in the Tallulah neighborhood of Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. on Lynton Street, off Norwood Avenue. McNair was discovered by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office lying in the road with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital later that morning.
