Death by Force

Dimitri Coleman, a 29-year-old native of Charleston, West Virginia, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of May 25, 2024. The incident occurred at a restaurant and grill located on the 400 block of Railroad Avenue on the West Side of Charleston. According to witnesses, an unknown suspect approached Dimitri, grabbed him by the throat, and shot him multiple times before fleeing the scene on foot. Dimitri was pronounced dead at the scene due to the multiple gunshot wounds he sustained.
