In the early morning hours of November 18, 2023, the life of 23-year-old Caucasian male Michael “Mikey” Mayer was tragically cut short in Springville, Utah. Having just returned to his apartment at 216 S. 100 West after a shift at work, he was confronted in the parking lot shortly before 3 a.m. In a harrowing turn of events, Mayer was on a phone call with a friend who overheard the confrontation.
