Nuer Deng, a 17-year-old student at Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Salt Lake City, Utah, was fatally shot on July 13, 2024. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a WinCo Foods store located at 2592 S. 5600 West in West Valley City. Nuer was sitting in the back seat of a car when another vehicle pulled up behind them and opened fire.
