On November 14, 2003, 21-year-old Jose Morales was fatally shot outside the Crossroads Apartments located at 2240 W. 3800 S. in West Valley City, Utah. Morales was found in the apartment complex's parking lot, and despite efforts to investigate, no suspects were identified, leaving the case unsolved. Nearly two decades later, the West Valley City Police Department continues to seek leads and has urged anyone with information to come forward in hopes of reviving the cold case.
