Jerome Allen, aged 22, was shot and killed on February 6, 2017, during an undercover police operation in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident took place on West 5th Street when Allen approached an undercover vehicle containing three narcotics detectives. According to reports from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO), Allen pointed what appeared to be a handgun at one of the detectives.
