On September 2, 2024, an 8-year-old boy named Sergeant "Sargy" Rosales tragically died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Lehi, Utah. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a Maverick gas station located at 3569 N. Thanksgiving Way. Sargy was alone in a vehicle when the shooting happened, while a parent was inside the gas station.
