Moses Batemon, a 31-year-old resident of Waterloo, Iowa, lost his life on May 9, 2023. His body was discovered by a maintenance worker at Elmwood Cemetery in the afternoon of the same day. The maintenance worker found him under an evergreen tree within the cemetery grounds.
