On April 27, 2017, Autumn Van Camp, a 36-year-old woman from Jacksonville, Florida, was tragically murdered in her home. Autumn, a mother and known for her friendly demeanor, was found dead under suspicious circumstances, leading to an ongoing investigation by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Despite years passing since the incident, her homicide remains unsolved, with few leads emerging that could identify the perpetrator.
The lack of witnesses and scarce forensic evidence have made this a particularly challenging case for authorities. Investigators have urged anyone with potential information to come forward to help bring justice to Autumn and her family. Her case has been included in Project Cold Case's database, which focuses on unresolved homicides, aiming to keep the memory of the victims alive and potentially uncover new leads that may assist in solving these tragic crimes.
