On May 28, 2017, Hakeem Busch, aged 35, was shot and killed in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred during a violent Memorial Day weekend, which saw multiple shootings across Duval County. Busch was found shot to death on Newbolt Court in Jacksonville's Westside. A woman was also injured in the same shooting but survived.
