In the summer of 2021, the life of Adam Eugene Edgington, a 42-year-old White/Caucasian male, came to a tragic end in rural Iowa. A middle school English teacher from Nevada, Iowa, Edgington found himself at the center of a criminal investigation that would ultimately precede his death. On July 7, 2021, the Marshalltown Police Department arrested him on a serious charge: sexual exploitation by a school employee.
