In the quiet community of Council Bluffs, Iowa, a domestic disturbance call on the morning of November 7, 2021, led to the discovery of a heart-wrenching event. Authorities arrived at a home in the 400 block of Timber Drive to find 83-year-old Caucasian female, Bonnie Rankin, deceased from a gunshot wound. The tranquil life of the long-time resident had come to a violent and unexpected end.
