Bonnie Rankin, an 83-year-old White/Caucasian woman, died on November 7, 2021, after a shooting at a residence east of Council Bluffs, Iowa. The incident unfolded early that Sunday morning in the 400 block of Timber Drive. At about 7:45 a.m., Pottawattamie County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to the property after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance involving a possible shooting victim.
