On August 14, 2017, 20-year-old Robert Bracewell was killed in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred during an attempted carjacking where Bracewell tried to rob a 14-year-old girl sitting in her mother’s vehicle. After forcing the girl out of the car, he fled the scene, and law enforcement tracked the vehicle using OnStar. When police confronted Bracewell, he refused to drop his weapon, prompting officers to open fire. He later died from his injuries at the hospital. Authorities confirm ...
