Bryant Jerald Collier, a 25-year-old African American man from Jacksonville, Florida, tragically lost his life on May 18, 2015. Collier, who was employed as a manager at Jani-King, was involved in a fatal incident at the District on Kernan apartment complex. The events leading to his death were part of a planned robbery that went awry. Collier and another man, Trey Edward Wright, had allegedly conspired to rob a resident at the apartment complex.
