The incident occurred as Gauldin was getting out of his car and heading towards a courtyard within the apartment complex. According to witness accounts, two masked men approached him and shot him multiple times before fleeing the scene.
Gauldin, known locally as a music producer and rapper named "Lil Jug," died from his injuries shortly after. The motive for the shooting remains unclear, and no suspects have been identified by the authorities.
