On an autumn evening in Tucson, Arizona, the life of 38-year-old Israel Dominguez Alfaro, a Hispanic male, was cut short in a brutal act of violence. On October 23, 2016, what began as a disagreement escalated into a fatal street brawl. Alfaro and his brother were walking near 7th Avenue and Lincoln Street, only a few blocks from the safety of their home, when a blue SUV abruptly stopped beside them. Several men and a woman exited the vehicle and a physical altercation ensued.
