John Matthew Scales, a 69-year-old male, was found with a gunshot wound in his vehicle in the early morning hours of December 11, 2021, in Phoenix, Arizona. Phoenix police responded to what was initially reported as a traffic collision near 13th Avenue and Madison Street around 3:45 a.m..
