On May 31, 2022, Jesse Van Hernandez, a 44-year-old resident of Tucson, Arizona, was found dead outside a motel room at 755 East Benson Highway. The Tucson Police Department (TPD) confirmed that Hernandez suffered from gunshot trauma and despite attempts to render aid, he died at the scene.
