On a winter evening in Phoenix, Arizona, the life of 16-year-old Alan “AJ” Hoover Jr. was tragically cut short. On Wednesday, January 7, 2015, the young man was shot and killed at a residence in the vicinity of 2300 East Shaw Butte Drive.
