On October 16, 2020, 34-year-old Hamantro Hylton was fatally shot outside his business near 35th Avenue and Van Buren Street in Phoenix, Arizona. Witnesses reported that a male suspect in a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt called out Hylton's nickname and fired shots from an adjacent parking lot separated by a chain-link fence.
