In the evening hours of a Monday in Phoenix, Arizona, a visit to a home turned fatal for 41-year-old George Talton. Two women reportedly broke into the residence and, in the course of an armed robbery, one of the intruders shot Talton. He tragically died at the scene. The incident occurred around 6 p.m., shattering the quiet of the neighborhood and leaving behind a scene of violence.
Authorities were quick to launch an investigation into the deadly home invasion.
Their efforts led them to Avondale, where they apprehended 24-year-old Keyanda Blakes. She was subsequently booked into jail on suspicion of first-degree murder and armed robbery in connection with Talton's death.
