Murdered

On February 8, 2016, Ruth Schwed, a 75-year-old retired teacher, volunteer, and loving mother, grandmother, and wife, was tragically murdered along with her friend Barbara Leslie, 70, in Leslie's home in the Sun City Grand community of Surprise, Arizona. Schwed was visiting Leslie, who had recently lost her husband, and the two were spending time together, reading the newspaper and drinking coffee in the morning when the incident occurred.
