In a parking lot of a Yuma, Arizona apartment complex, a Wednesday night in early November of 2016 turned fatal for Anthony Ramirez. The 24-year-old man was in the midst of a domestic disturbance with his girlfriend when a passerby intervened. The specifics of the argument between Ramirez and his girlfriend remain unclear, but the situation escalated when a 21-year-old man, who was armed with a gun, attempted to separate the couple.
