On April 1, 2018, 46-year-old Timothy McGhee was fatally shot during a large family gathering at Eastlake Park in Phoenix, Arizona. The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. near 16th and Jefferson streets, where approximately 200 people had assembled for an Easter celebration. An altercation broke out among attendees, leading to multiple gunshots being fired. McGhee sustained critical injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
