On April 21, 2018, Joshua Torres, a 21-year-old resident of Phoenix, Arizona, was fatally shot during a drug transaction gone wrong. The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. near the intersection of 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road in west Phoenix.
