On May 13, 2018, 22-year-old Alina Duwyenie was fatally shot at an apartment in Mesa, Arizona. The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. when police responded to a call reported as an accidental shooting near Country Club Drive and Broadway Road. Upon arrival, officers found Duwyenie with a gunshot wound to her left eye. She was transported to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
