Trooper Tyler James Edenhofer, a 24-year-old officer with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, lost his life in the line of duty on July 25, 2018. The incident occurred when Edenhofer and several other officers responded to reports of a subject throwing objects at vehicles on Interstate 10 near Avondale, Arizona.
