In the quiet hours of a summer night in Avondale, Arizona, the life of Guillermo Vargas, a 27-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically cut short. On July 28, 2018, the stillness was broken by the sound of a gunshot outside an apartment complex near the intersection of Buckeye and Dysart roads. Responding to a call, police officers discovered Vargas unconscious, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
