On the night of March 30, 2017, Erick Dominguez, a 23-year-old Hispanic / Latino male, was shot during an encounter in the parking lot of a Fry’s Food grocery store in Avondale, Arizona, near Buckeye Road and Avondale Boulevard. News reports describe how two vehicles were in the lot when occupants of one car opened fire on the other before both vehicles fled the scene.
