On April 6, 2019, Damon Odell Frye, a 31-year-old man, was fatally shot in the courtyard of the Veranda apartment complex near 59th and Olive avenues in Glendale, Arizona. The incident occurred around 5:50 p.m. following an altercation that broke out in the complex.
