In the early morning hours of June 24, 2019, the life of 18-year-old David Romero, a Hispanic male, was cut tragically short in a burst of violence on the streets of Phoenix, Arizona. The incident unfolded around 3:15 a.m. near 35th and Missouri avenues, where Romero was discovered with fatal gunshot wounds. He was not alone; alongside him was 24-year-old Gabriel Chacon, who had also succumbed to gunfire.
