In the late afternoon of a September day in Mesa, Arizona, a domestic visit turned into a scene of violence that would end a young man's life. Twenty-four-year-old Khalil Evans, a male, was at the Coral Point Apartments on West Main Street when he was shot multiple times. The incident, which occurred on September 29, 2019, left Evans with life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but the severity of his wounds proved to be fatal, and he died shortly after his arrival.
