Born on July 7, 1983, in Evansville, Indiana, he had built a life and a career in law enforcement, first with the Indiana Department of Correction and later as an officer with the Arizona Department of Corrections after moving to Arizona with his wife in 2016.
Hendrickson was known for his calm demeanor, a trait that served him well in his
profession. He had a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of Arizona, often spending his free time hiking and exploring in his Jeep. His warm personality and charming laugh left a lasting impression on those he met. A dedicated animal lover, he considered his five dogs and a cat to be his children.
On October 10, 2019, Jonathan Hendrickson passed away. In his obituary, his family described his death as unexpected and requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
