On December 29, 2019, Angel Torres, a 28-year-old man from Yuma, Arizona, was fatally shot in a violent incident that also claimed the life of another man, 37-year-old Monico Rico. The shooting occurred early Sunday morning on 14th Avenue between 9th Place and 10th Street in Yuma.
