Thirty-year-old Abdul Rustamzai, a male of Caucasian descent, was shot and killed on June 22, 2020, following a dispute in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven where he worked at 99th Avenue and Indian School Road. Rustamzai, who had been a dedicated employee at the store for five years, was a husband and a father to two children.

Rustamzai had come to the United States in pursuit of the American dream. In the wake of his passing, a small memorial was created outside the 7-Eleven to honor his memory, and a GoFundMe page was established to assist his family with funeral expenses.
The man identified as the suspect in the shooting is 25-year-old Tony Blunk. Reports indicate that Blunk had gone to the convenience store to pick up a Postmates order. An argument erupted between Blunk and Rustamzai, which escalated to the point of Blunk allegedly shooting the clerk. Rustamzai was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following an investigation into the incident, Tony Blunk was arrested and is now facing murder charges in connection with Abdul Rustamzai's death.
