In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Phoenix, Arizona, a life was tragically cut short in a burst of violence. On April 18, 2021, Anthony Harvey, a male, was attempting to enter a nightclub located at 1640 E. Southern Avenue when multiple gunshots rang out in the darkness. Struck by the gunfire, Harvey sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m., a time when the area would have been bustling with weekend activity.
