In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Yuma, Arizona, the life of Nicholas William Berg was abruptly cut short. On September 12, 2021, the 22-year-old male was found with a fatal gunshot wound. His death is being investigated by authorities as a homicide. The young man, who was born in San Diego, California, and later moved to Yuma, was a student at Arizona Western College at the time of his passing, with aspirations of a career in business management.
