On a Sunday in San Tan Valley, Arizona, the life of 15-year-old Joshua Woodrow McCoy was tragically cut short. The young man, a promising junior varsity basketball player, was at his home on September 26, 2021, when the doorbell rang. When he went to answer the door, he was met by gunfire. The person who had rung the bell shot Joshua and then fled the scene.
