On January 12, 2022, a tragic incident occurred in a north Phoenix apartment, resulting in the death of 2-year-old Kayden Lewis. The child was accidentally shot in the family's apartment, located near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road. At the time of the incident, Kayden was inside the apartment with his immediate family, including his father, Joshua Lewis, and his mother, Amanda Bailey.
