On May 14, 2022, 19-year-old Mohamed Salim Abdullah was fatally shot at a house party in the area of Litchfield Road and Western Avenue, south of Van Buren Street in Goodyear, Arizona. Abdullah was found in a backyard with gunshot wounds and was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
