In the quiet outskirts of Prescott, Arizona, the life of a 31-year-old woman named Skylar Hughes came to a tragic and abrupt end. On the evening of May 16, 2022, Prescott Police officers were called to the Yavapai Regional Medical Center after a report of a female arriving with a single gunshot wound. That woman was Skylar Hughes, and despite the efforts of medical staff, she succumbed to her injury shortly after her arrival.
