In the heat of a Phoenix afternoon on July 29, 2022, a tragic event unfolded that cut short the life of 17-year-old Hector Matthew Pena-Dominguez. A Hispanic male, Pena-Dominguez was fatally shot in a violent incident that transpired around 1:30 p.m. in the vicinity of 6800 West Devonshire Avenue.
