In the early hours of an autumn morning in Tucson, Arizona, the life of Alvy Ndayishimiye, a 27-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. On October 22, 2023, Tucson Police officers were dispatched to the Stephenson Place apartment complex located at 3533 N. Estrella Ave., near the intersection of Prince Road and Stone Avenue, following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Ndayishimiye in the courtyard with a gunshot wound.
