On July 6, 2024, Brenda Gelleny, a 65-year-old woman from Goodyear, Arizona, was fatally shot by her husband, Michael Gelleny. Michael, 67, called the police himself to report the incident, stating that he had ended his wife's life to put an end to her four years of pain and suffering.
