On May 20, 2020, Deborah L. Powers, a 59-year-old resident of Goodyear, Arizona, lost her life due to gun violence. The incident occurred at a home near Sarival Avenue and Yuma Road.

Deborah Powers was one of the three individuals who died in what authorities described as an apparent double murder-suicide.
